Dr. Ted Mika graduated from Kansas State University’s Veterinary Medical School in 1992 and practiced medicine in South Dakota for a year.  With his wife Monica, Dr. Mika moved to Greeley, Colorado in 1993, and worked with a local large animal practice for ten years.  Dr. Mika founded P.E.T.S. in 2001, Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital in 2003, and Grand Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital in 2005.  When he isn’t managing the hospitals, Dr. Mika is probably skiing, hunting, or fishing with his wife and two kids Riley and Reiss.

After growing up in Indiana and graduating from Indiana University with a B.S. in biology, Dr. Mary Ann Archer attended Purdue’s School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2001.  Dr. Archer has been practicing medicine at P.E.T.S. since July of 2004 and when she isn’t treating patients here, she enjoys spending time with her husband John, her rescued dog Cheyenne, and her disabled cat Calypso.  In her free time she might be cooking, gardening, camping, hiking, fishing, or horse back riding.

Lisa was born and raised in Colorado and lives out east in the countryside with her husband and two kids.  She enjoys spending time with their two lab mixes, 2 year old Summer and the new puppy Bear, and hopes to add some chickens and a cow in the future.  She has been working with P.E.T.S. since 2003 and enjoys making a difference in the lives of owners and their pets.
